our equipmentThomas and Jonathan Ivy started Southern Transport, LLC. in 2006 with a one-ton truck and a gooseneck trailer, hauling local hot shot loads. Over the years we have grown, and continue to grow, into what we are today.
Our sister companies provide many of the services that we don’t currently offer directly through Southern Transport. Having the ability for our customers to make one phone call to make their job a little less stressful is what makes us stand out from our competitors. With one call our customers can have all of their logistics handled from start to finish.
Southern Transport provides several different options to move your equipment safely and efficiently. Our equipment is capable of winching loads up to 130,000 lbs. onto our trailers. Any load weighing over 130,000 lbs. may need assistance from a crane or pole truck for added safety.
